Jim Stone
Founder and President
As Founder and President of the company, Jim is ultimately responsible for the success of geoVue’s customers. He oversees the daily operations of the organization, including the Client Services group that provides requirements analysis, implementation, and delivery of geoVue products and services to customers. He is also responsible for the design and development of analytics including predictive models used in market selection, market planning, sales forecasting, and localization of marketing and assortment.
Jim has over 25 years experience in the commercial real estate industry, spending his first eleven years working for commercial development firms in the areas of finance, property management, and acquisitions. In 1994 he founded geoVue with the goal of creating information systems that used geography-based models of the market to improve investment decisions. In 1995 he became a consultant to limited, inc., then in 1996 delivered them the first production version of iSITE, the foundation of geoVue’s product line.
Jim is a recognized leader in the geospatial industry, having been a speaker at industry gatherings since 1995 including Location Intelligence, ICSC, Retail Systems, URISA, NACREIF, and others. He frequently appears in publications including Shopping Center Business, Franchise Times, Restaurant News, the Boston Globe, the Chicago Tribune, and the Wall Street Journal.
Jim has been a member of the prestigious Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) since 2001 and received the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation in 1987. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. He lives in Reading, MA with his wife and three daughters. His interests include snowboarding, hunting, chess, and guitar.
Charles Douglis
Chief Financial Officer
For the past five years through his firm CFOaxis, Chas has worked closely with emerging technology companies to raise growth capital, develop implementable business plans and complete successful exit strategies. His clients included- Sitescape Inc., geoVue, Harvest Automation, Manifold Products, Xconomy, VoxVue Corporation, Cecropia, Ziggs, InterNoded, and Waban Software.
He has been the CFO of Visage Inc. (1984-1990) and Veridiem (2000-2001), Inc, both venture backed technology companies. In his position at both organizations he was responsible for developing operating plans, creating the necessary infrastructure to support rapid growth and managing capital market relationships. In addition to these CFO roles, he was also a Partner at TCGen (2004-2005), a boutique investment banking firm focusing on small to middle market companies.
In 1990, he became the President of Software Productivity Research, a self funded software and services organization. In this role, he managed all functional areas of the company through a 400% growth period, while maintaining consistent operating profits. He also initiated a strategic initiative in 1996 to re-engineer the company’s core product- KnowledgePLAN, which won the prestigious Software Development magazine Productivity Award. In 1998, Chas successfully negotiated the sale of the company.
Chas started his career by spending six years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formally Coopers & Lybrand) and servicing large and small clients including, Verizon, TJX, Bolt Beranek & Newman and Raytheon Corporation.
Chas earned his MS in Accounting from Northeastern University (High Honors) and a BA in Political Science from St. Lawrence University. He also passed the CPA exam in Massachusetts.
Marcia Foley
Senior Vice President, Client Services
As the Sr. VP of Client Services, Marcia is responsible for all aspects of Production and Client Services at geoVue. Marcia brings over 25 years of operations management experience to the company, and focuses on initiatives including: ensuring client satisfaction goals are met on each project/client deliverable; defining and analyzing the client service delivery methodology; accelerating the data management delivery process through automated procedures; and evaluating specific operations/projects on an as needed basis.
Marcia is currently the Client Services Manager for Dunkin’ Brands, Goodwill Industries International, Nike, Advance Auto Parts, CKE Restaurants, Goddard Schools, adidas and Swarovski and several other geoVue clients.
Marcia has a wealth of knowledge in Operations Management. Prior to joining geoVue, Marcia served for 9 years as Vice President of Operations at a relocation management company servicing Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, she has extensive experience at managing Operations at 2 software start-up companies, and 13 years middle management experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution and Program Management at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Marcia has a B.A. in Management and Government from Simmons College and an MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management.
Marcia and her husband Kurt Edmonds reside in Newburyport and have a 19 year old son, Brendan. In her spare time Marcia enjoys skiing, sailing, cycling and reading.
Igor Oliynyk
Director of Analytics
As the Director of Analytics, Igor is responsible for research engagements with current and prospective clients, as well as all related client management activities. These activities typically include data mining and data modeling projects related to the current iPLAN and iPREDICT products and ad-hoc solutions that involve modeling.
Igor brings to the company a wealth of technical, academic, retail analytics, and marketing analytics experience. He holds his Doctorate degree in Mathematics from Northeastern University together with 7+ years of software development experience. Most notably, Igor was a Scientist at ProfitLogic (currently Oracle Retail), where he solved and implemented efficient solutions for large retail chain stores (Home Depot, Toys ‘R Us, Old Navy, JC Penney, Banana Republic, etc.).
In his current role, Igor provides solutions which have already deeply impacted and advanced the way geoVue approaches data modeling problems, both from the solution and implementation perspective.
Igor resides in Greater Boston area, and he enjoys playing and refereeing soccer games.
Keith McKenney
Director of Technical Services

As Director of Technical Services, Keith is responsible for managing and directing geoVue’s technical activities for all company products. This includes organizing, developing, planning and integrating technical efforts. Additionally, he is heavily involved in product and client management, implementation and setup of online systems and solutions. Most notably, Keith is the senior technical lead for Dunkin' Brands, who has been a geoVue client for over 10 years.
Keith joined the geoVue team in 2005, first focusing on Application Production and Solution Architecture. With his experience and skill in these areas, the transition to Product Management and subsequently Technical Services Director was a natural progression. Keith's primary focus areas include identifying, directing and managing software enhancement opportunities that reduce cost and increase client satisfaction, and directing the engineering and implementation teams to drive these opportunities forward.
Prior to joining geoVue, Keith worked as a computer programmer for Aubuchon Hardware, and received his education at Bentley University in Waltham, MA. Keith's experience includes database relationships, system support, technical project development, leadership and planning in a wide variety of business applications with an emphasis in GIS software.
Keith resides in Stoneham, MA, and enjoys baseball and golf in his spare time.
Kevin Dougherty
Director of Sales
Kevin joined the geoVue team in 2009 as Sales Manager. Kevin is responsible for all aspects of major account management, from developing sales strategies and new client acquisition to customer health and happiness.
Prior to joining geoVue, Kevin held senior sales positions at several B2B software and technology companies, with a focus on selling SaaS solutions. His approach has always been to listen to the client, and deliver value-based solutions that fit their needs.
Kevin holds a Masters in Business Administration from Wake Forest University, and a BA in Psychology from Villanova. He also served in the US Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Captain, and receiving the Navy Achievement Medal for outstanding leadership.
Amy Caton
Manager, Marketing & Sales Operations
As Manager of Marketing and Sales Operations, Amy is responsible for driving day-to-day marketing activities, and supporting the sales team. Amy manages all of geoVue's marketing initiatives, including online marketing, social media efforts, webinar programs, event exhibits, and PR communications.
Amy is also a key member of the geoVue sales team, providing support for daily sales operations as well as research and project support.
Amy had previously spent 14 years at Tactician Corporation, a geographic mapping and reporting solutions provider. Her experience in the GIS industry made her a unique fit when she came to geoVue. Amy's experience includes a broad range of marketing practices, from strategy to messaging to campaign planning and execution.
