Client Data Collection
An understanding about your customers is critical to develop the metrics that drive geoVue's modeling solutions. Actual customer data (transaction data, loyalty card, POS data, etc.) will produce the best results. If, however, no primary customer data exists, it can be valuable to develop a representative sample of in-store customer survey responses from a statistically valid set of store locations, so that geoVue can develop a reliable customer profile and a build a trade area calculator that estimates the trade area boundary for a given location. geoVue works with its third party data collection partners to identify a representative sample of stores to survey, develop the survey questionnaire, collect an unbiased sample of responses, compile and analyze the results.
Enterprise Data Integration
geoVue offers full data integration with any systems you have in-house. Capabilities exist to connect a geoVue solution directly to databases and information systems within its enterprise data warehouse in order to centralize the data management, streamline the update process and ensure real-time access to actionable information. For example, an organization may want sales data from a financials system to automatically update the store locations on = geoVue maps. Alternatively, businesses may wish to integrate the output of geoVue models with other enterprise business intelligence systems (e.g. SAP, SAS, Cognos, etc.).
geoVue’s experienced team of data integration experts will work with your company to identify the systems, data and technical resources and develop an integration strategy that can be managed either by geoVue or by your own staff. Our web services architecture offers the flexibility to select an integration strategy that best suits the needs of your business.
Performance Tracking
In order to measure the reliability of forecasting tools and improve them over time, a tracking system can be implemented. The documentation for critical decisions can then be summarized and stored in a database that includes the date, predicted values, assumptions, analyst name, and commentary on the final decision. Actual performance data are then entered into the system and variances are analyzed to identify patterns that indicate ways to improve the design of the model, data collection procedures, and decision-making processes. An annual review of these metrics is used as an input to the update of models for the next year.
Implementation Services
Extensive implementation services are available for all geoVue solutions. A "Statement of Work" is generated which outlines the various steps required for a full implementation and product launch. Each Statement of Work is tailored to the specific needs of your organization.
