Ms. Schafer serves as a Director of NRF (National Retail Federation); AC Moore Arts & Crafts Inc. (NASDAQ:ACMR); and geoVue, a provider of location intelligence software, as well as a number of other boards.
Ms. Schafer has been featured in numerous news articles, publications and frequently is invited to speak at both technology and retail industry forums. Ms. Schafer was named one of "Boston's 40 Under 40 Most Successful Business People" and has also been featured in The NY Times, Information Week, The Boston Globe, and many other major publications.
Lori has served as Vice President of Global Retail Practice at SAS Institute, Inc. Ms. Schafer has over 20 years experience in the retail and consumer goods industry. Lori served as Chairman, President and CEO of Marketmax, Inc., a merchandise intelligence software company. Prior to Marketmax, Lori held numerous positions including brand management at Procter & Gamble Company. She has also consulted with some of the world's leading retailers in the areas of merchandising, planning and inventory optimization.
Joining Lori for the introduction will be Jim Stone, President & Founder of geoVue. Jim is a recognized leader in the geospatial industry, having been a speaker at industry gatherings since 1995 including Location Intelligence, ICSC, Retail Systems, URISA, NACREIF, and others.
