geoVue Strengthens Analytics Capabilities With New Director

Woburn, MA – February 11, 2010 – geoVue, Inc., a leading provider of site selection, market optimization and sales forecasting solutions for retailers, restaurants and other chain facility operators, today announced the addition of Igor Oliynyk as Director of Analytics.

 

Chain operators, including corporate owned and franchised, making major capital investments in locating their businesses require the best software tools and dependable methodologies to support their real estate decisions. Oliynyk will broaden geoVue’s already robust analytics capabilities, allowing us to tailor solutions for firms either new to market ranking, optimization and forecasting or to those with strong in-house capabilities.

His experience and creativity with analytic methods and techniques will result in more robust modeling scenarios and greater product capabilities,” says Jim Stone, geoVue’s founder and President. “Further, the timing is ideal, as we are deep into new product development for 2010.”

Oliynyk has extensive experience leading analytics teams in the retail, direct-marketing and publishing industries, designing and implementing complex systems to optimize and streamline business processes and decisions. Oliynyk received his PhD in Mathematics from Northeastern University and his M.A. and B.A. degrees in Mathematics from Moscow State University. He has authored several research publications on complex analytical subjects.
